We are all familiar, I believe, with the age-old-adage that the devil is in the details. When it comes to creating a relaxing and effective massage experience, this adage rings all the more true. It’s not easy to relax when you spend all your time on the table worried about the cleanliness or atmosphere of the spa.

Being as fond of receiving massages as she was of giving them, Dawn Langley, one of the owners of Ideal Massage and a massage therapist herself, set out to establish a massage spa that could offer not just the quality of service she was looking for, but also a safe environment.

She knew how it felt to be nervous on the table. How it could be difficult to speak up during a massage when you feel vulnerable and uncomfortable. As a result, Dawn recognized that she needed to design a spa that could help break-the-ice to achieve an atmosphere of relaxation.

Ideal Massage currently uses the booking software Mangomint for online booking. It offers a streamlined booking experience that is easy to use on a mobile device or computer.

Booking your Massage

Your massage experience really begins before you are even on the table. It starts when you book your appointment. Finding an easy to use online software was as imperative as the table and it’s why we remain vigilant at Ideal Massage for new innovations in the industry that could potentially make that experience easier.

But not everyone books online and there are often questions that need to be answered along the way. We had to find the right people to help answer those questions who could anticipate your needs and do so in a friendly and inviting manner. We take extra care to hire experienced managers for our front desk staff. We train them and guide them through the intricacies of the industry so that even if they aren’t a massage therapist themselves, you can trust they know the answers to your questions. And if they don’t, they know where to find them.

The Lobby

After booking your massage, the next milestone of your experience is your first steps into the building. Everything from the smell of the air to the feel of the furniture has been chosen to create an Ideal inviting experience. We take great pride in maintaining a clean environment not just in the massage rooms, but in every room of the building. We have installed various purifiers, dehumidifiers, and sanitizing lights to keep even the air as fresh and clean as possible. While this may seem like overkill, we believe they add value to your experience on the table.

The Massage Rooms

One of the features of our spa we get comments on the most, are the room decorations. Whether you are visiting our Wesley Chapel location to experience our magically inspired 9 and ¾ room or visiting the Lutz location to take a trip to Paris in our couples massage room, it is evident to most that we want to create a unique experience. Each room of each office has its own unique theme beginning with a full floor to ceiling mural.

In addition, we provide each room with various lighting features, blankets and even individual controls for the volume of music. Each room has an electric table with a table warmer, allowing the therapist more freedom and flexibility to give you the pressure and experience you are looking for.

In addition, we encourage our therapists to make the space their own with the use of their favorite tools and products. While we offer tools for the therapists to use, allowing them the freedom to utilize their own tools can improve the confidence and comfort level of the therapist which often translates to an improved massage experience.

Make a visit to our Lutz location to leave a message on our selfie wall.

Wrapping Up

After your massage, your therapist will greet you outside of the room. It’s important to rehydrate your body after a massage which is why we make sure to give you a bottle of water as a reminder to do just that. In addition, our lobby has extra seating to provide space for clients who are leaving that may need to rest a few minutes before heading out.

Don’t think you will make it back soon to see us? Some of the tools, lotions and products used by most of our therapists are available for sale at the front desk as well, allowing you to take the experience home with you.

We are continuously looking for ways to improve the Ideal Massage experience. Whether we are adding new services or redesigning our rooms, every aspect of your experience has been carefully thought over. In addition, our therapists and staff are encouraged to participate in the experience as well and to give critical feedback about what it was like to get a massage with us. This attention to detail is what sets us apart from our competitors and has contributed to the high quality of service our clients have come to expect from Ideal Massage.
